The level of industrial development of the modern state is determined by the level of production and consumption of products of radio-electronic equipment. Radio-electronic industry, as a base among the leading industries, is the main driving force of the economies of all advanced states, because it applies the highest technology to make maximum use of modern technology, which defines the scientific and technological advances in other industries. Based on the foregoing, the State Program of development of radio-electronic industry of the Republic of Belarus has been developed and approved by the Government for the period from 2006 till 2010. The main purpose of this document is the strengthening of the Belarusian radio-electronic enterprises in the domestic and foreign markets and increased sales of radio-electronic industry in 1,7-2,0 times in 2010 compared to 2005.
To date, the "Automation. Electronics" and "Electrotech. Light" international specialized exhibitions are the single exhibitions, which do not have any analogues in the Republic of Belarus. The exposition of domestic and world manufacturers, suppliers of means of automation and electronic components, the process equipment and materials for manufacture of the electronic and electro technical industry is organized once again in spring 2009, in Minsk, at 14 Pobediteley Ave.

This year despite the impact of the global economic crisis will be a lot of foreign representatives among the participants of the exhibitions «Automation. Electronics» and «Electrotech. Light» : Hummel AG and JUMO GmbH & Co. KG Instruments international AG (Switzerland), Klinkmann Automatio Oy (Finland), Pakmarkas, JSC (Lithuania), Rockwell Automation, Ryazan State Instrument Plant, «MEGA-K», «Elektroapparat», «Hakel Ros».
The test equipment will be provided by Endress + Hauser Instruments international AG (Switzerland), «Belenergokip», «Logoprom», Jumo GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), «Evroavtomatika FiF» . The full range of equipment and components for automation of industrial production will be demonstrated by Finder SPA (Italy), Klinkmann Automatio Oy (Finland), «Kamotstsi-Pneumatics», «Tehnikon», «Senkom-Avtomatiks», «Pnevmoelektroservis», «ATAWA», «Entas» , «Festo » and «Energopribor». Among the exhibitors of the «Electrotech» will be domestic and international manufacturers, suppliers of electrical products: Hummel AG (Germany), «Elos» and others.
Within the framework of the exhibitions, there are additional tools promoting their products - special events that use the exhibition business program. The Spring Forum 2009 season-electronics and electrical equipment is going to hold presentations, conferences, seminars and educational programs that enrich the subject of the exhibition «Automation. Electronics» and «Electrotech. Light» and certainly will help to understand the processes occurring in the industry, with the scientific point of view.
